PlaylistPal – Terms of Service
Effective date: 1/1/2025
Welcome to PlaylistPal! By using our website and services, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Overview
PlaylistPal provides a platform where artists can submit their music to playlist curators in exchange for guaranteed feedback and playlist consideration.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a legal guardian to use this platform.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Any activity under your account is your responsibility.
4. Submissions & Feedback Guarantee
We guarantee that all valid submissions will receive feedback from participating curators. However, we do not guarantee playlist placements.
5. Payments & Refunds
All purchases made on PlaylistPal are final. Refunds will only be issued in cases where feedback is not delivered within the guaranteed time window, for example 14 days.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain full rights to your music. By submitting tracks, you grant PlaylistPal and its curators a non-exclusive license to listen, evaluate, and consider your music for playlist inclusion.
7. Curator Payments & Fraudulent Activity
PlaylistPal reserves the right to withhold, delay, cancel, or permanently refuse payments to curators if we detect suspicious, fraudulent, spammy, abusive, or manipulative activity. This includes, but is not limited to, fake playlists, bot activity, artificial streams, manipulated follower counts, misleading curator information, failure to deliver promised playlist placements, attempts to game the platform, or any behavior that violates these Terms of Service. PlaylistPal may investigate suspicious activity at its own discretion. During such investigation, any pending curator payments may be temporarily withheld. If fraudulent activity is confirmed, PlaylistPal may permanently withhold unpaid earnings, suspend the account, or permanently ban the curator from the platform.
8. Curator Tax Responsibility
Curators are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes, fees, duties, VAT, income tax, social contributions, or other charges required by the laws of their respective country, region, or jurisdiction. PlaylistPal is not responsible for calculating, reporting, withholding, or paying taxes on behalf of curators, unless required by applicable law. Curators are responsible for keeping accurate records of their earnings and for complying with all relevant tax obligations in their own country.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent, spammy, or abusive behavior.
10. Limitation of Liability
PlaylistPal is not liable for any damages or losses arising from use of our platform. Playlist placements are not guaranteed, and curators act independently.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of PlaylistPal after updates means you agree to the new terms.
12. Suspicious Activity
Any suspicious activity, including bots or any other form of manipulation, may result in immediate suspension and a permanent ban from PlaylistPal.
